Epic Games just released a big patch for Fortnite [Free] on all platforms. Patch 3.4 has been available on iOS and includes various bug fixes and new features. While the patch includes a ton of additions to all platforms, the iOS-specific fixes and enhancements include various alerts for unsupported devices and some new graphical enhancements. When it comes to visuals, 4x MSAA is now available for Fortnite on iOS across all supported devices. The advancement team has put together a new patch for every platform, although some changes can only be exclusively found on certain ones. And as it has only recently launched on iOS, today’s Fortnite Mobile update has some big changes. Hearing too many players who just downloaded the newer version of the game, had to download the full game again. Epic Games have confirmed that fans have to do this to grab the new Fortnite Mobile update, although they won’t have to in the future. The reason behind this is because a new game data download system, which will enable developers to make much smaller updates in the future, has been added with this patch. Unfortunately, it does mean players will need to download the game again, which currently stands at the 1.8GB mark. Another big change brought by this update is that player’s who’s the device isn’t supported would get an error message. According to players unsupported devices now get a pop-up message. The message reads as “We’re sorry. Fortnite requires a device with 2GB of memory to run. Fortnite works with: iPhone SE, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X; iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad Pro.” The new update also included the most famous and admired new Guided Missile weapons, which allows complete control for those skilled players. The revamped Sniper Shootout v2 limited time mode is back, with the newly added Hunting Rifle and Crossbow. If you have a jailbroken device, your device is no longer supported to play Fortnite. One bigger change is the new download system for data. This will let the team send out smaller updates in the future instead of the larger ones on the App Store. This change will sadly require you to download all the game data. You can download (Fortnite Mobile) Fortnite Battle Royale on iOS, Fortnite Android APK is not yet available.
